Holiday Shipping Deadlines

 

The Postal Service wants to make sure that you send all of your holiday mail in time for your family and friends to receive and enjoy for the holidays. Therefore, in order to ensure timely delivery of your cards, letters or packages, please note the shipping deadline dates for the following different types of mail.

 

Holiday Dates for Domestic Mail

The Postal Service recommends the following mailing and shipping deadlines for expected delivery by Dec. 25 to domestic addresses¹:

Please note that not all shipping options are available to everyone and available options will depend on your area.

These shipping deadlines are a guideline not a guarantee. Due to COVID-19, there may be unexpected delays in the delivery of your package.

We do not guarantee arrival dates on any shipments received after 12pm EST on Monday, December 19th.

Please keep in mind that we are closed during the weekends, so any orders placed after 3 pm EST on Friday will ship on Monday.

Please note these estimates are not based on when you place your order, but when your order ships. Your order will ship same day if placed before 3 pm EST on a weekday, or the next business day if placed after this time. All shipping dates are based on Eastern Standard (UTC -05:00).

Any order with Free Shipping as the selected shipping method will be shipped by a method at our discretion, and there are no guarantees as to its delivery date.
