In order to ensure your blanket investment lasts as long as possible, we recommend following a few guidelines when caring for your blankets.

For Waterproof Turnout Blankets: waterproof turnout blankets are made with a special waterproof coating that causes water to bead and roll off of the blanket, preventing any water absorption into the material. These blankets should be laundered minimally. Pasture debris such as mud and feces can be washed off with a hose.

When laundering, in order to make certain that this coating does not wear away, it is recommended to not use harsh detergents, fabric softeners, and bleach when washing the blankets. Remove all detachable components, and fasten and closures before laundering. Wash with cold water and air dry or tumble dry low.

For Stable Blankets: Remove all detachable components, and fasten all closures before laundering. Wash with warm water and air dry or tumble dry low. Do not use harsh detergents, fabric softeners, and bleach when washing the blankets.
