This blanket runs on the large side so I would suggest getting the size about 1 less than what the horse measures at. It is well put together for the price, but it is not as water repellent as I expected but I used the spray on repellent and it works great. For the price it is well worth the money

I have one for over 10 years.
The normal sizeis the same qulity. The 82" one looks better but the stiches on the neck are allready opening.
