This is a fun toy. A horse with prominent withers is a must. I did end up using a child size stirrup leather. Ring for stirrup attachment does not have a safety release.

This saddle is lovely. I have an antique side saddle (from the 1800's) with the double balance straps and it has been impossible to find similar saddles. I had almost given up on my double straps. Now I can truly appreciate the history of my inheritance!
